Olympia, Wash. – The Wolves traveled to the Geoducks of Evergreen State College to kick off their weekend road trip in a Friday afternoon clash. The Geoducks (6-2-1, 3-2-1 CCC) would ride a hat trick from senior Emilio Meraz-Rodriguez en route to a 4-0 victory over the visiting Wolves (0-11, 0-7 CCC).   

The home team Geoducks would waste no time and strike within the first two minutes of the match, as Christian Segovia found Meraz-Rodriguez for his first goal of the match. Meraz-Rodriguez would modify a bicycle kick and place the ball right inside the far side of the post, putting the Geoducks ahead 1-0. 

The Wolves defense would buckle down as they held the Geoducks to that opening goal and would go into halftime trailing 1-0.

Coming out of halftime, the Wolves were able to avoid the Geoducks first few shots on goal and would find an opportunity to tie the match up. Midfielder Carlos Cantu took a shot in the 51st minute, however the shot would be blocked. The Geoducks would take advantage of this transition and score their second goal in the 52nd minute off the leg of Meraz-Rodriguez. The Geoducks would score two more quick goals -  one by Meraz-Rodriguez on a penalty kick and the other by Sasa Yodkerepauprai.

The Wolves would hold the Geoducks for the final 35 minutes, however they could not find the back of the net and would fall 4-0 in the opening match of their weekend road trip.
