WWU Men’s Basketball vs. Eastern Washington University

CHENEY, Wash – Walla Walla University's men's basketball team had their hands full Wednesday evening, when they traveled to Cheney, Washington to take on Eastern Washington University.

The Wolves lost by a final score of 95-34, in a game that WWU was only able to connect on 23% of their shots. Eastern Washington shot the ball significantly better, coming away with 72.5% on field goal attempts.

Tyreek Luckett led the Wolves in scoring, rebounds, and assists with 11, three, and three, respectively.

Walla Walla was out-rebounded 37-12, and really had a tough time competing against the size and strength of Eastern Washington. 7'1 center Frederik Jorg came up with 18 points, with five blocked shots for Eastern.

Eastern Washington is a member of the Big Sky Conference, a Division I college basketball program. Their record is now 3-0, while Walla Walla falls to 0-7.

This Friday, at 2 p.m. the Wolves travel to Kirkland, Washington to play Northwest University.
