WWU Drops Second Game to NHCC

COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. - Walla Walla had four players in double digits but dropped their second in a row to New Hope 71-86.

New Hope used a 51% shooting from the field and a 40% from behind the arc to led in the first half 45-35. The Wolves had their chances all game long with great open looks at the basket but couldn't get the ball to drop as they shot only 38% from the field.

The second half was more of the same with WWU getting great first and second chances but not being able to put the ball in the basket. The Deacons outshot the Wolves 54% to 32%.

Isiah Large led the Deacons offense with 27 points while Carlos McLeod had 22 points and 17 rebounds.

The Wolves had a much more balanced attack with four players in double digits. David Reischach, Josh Hough, Michael Isotalo and Chad Torkelsen scored 15, 13, 12 and 10 points respectively. Josh and David led the team on rebounds with 11 and 9.

The Wolves get a little extra time to work things out before traveling to Lewis-Clark State College on November 25 for a 7:00pm tip off.
