College Place, Wash. – At halftime of Sunday afternoon's men's basketball game against the College of Idaho, the Wolves took a moment to honor the work of former Athletic Director Gerry Larson.  In 2013, Gerry took over as Athletic Director for the Wolves, following the retirement of Tim Windemuth.  During his tenure as AD, he helped established Walla Walla University's athletic program as a true NAIA institution, including the launching of our website, improving contest procedures and policies, and the expansion of our athletic program by adding women's and men's golf.

Gerry also spearheaded the Wolves move into the Cascade Collegiate Conference.  The Wolves are extremely proud to be a part of the CCC, and we cannot thank Gerry enough for his leadership and guidance leading us into the conference.
Before Gerry joined the athletic department, he worked for Marketing and Enrollment here at Walla Walla University.  From 2007-2012 Gerry also served as a basketball coach at Walla Walla University.  After being involved first with the Women's basketball team, Gerry become the head men's coach in 2008.  Gerry also was a former athlete at Walla Walla College, and is a 1995 graduate.

Thank you Gerry for your dedication to Walla Walla University Athletics.
