Men's Basketball: (RV) Lewis-Clark State College Knocks Down 11 3-Pointers in Win Over Wolves

LEWISTON, IDAHO - Silas Bennion and Al Sommerfield each knocked down four three-pointers to lead (RV) Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) over Walla Walla. Despite the loss, KiAndre Gaddy scored 20-plus points for the Wolves and tied the program record for blocks (5) in a game he set back earlier in the season.

 GAME NOTES:

  • The Warriors started the game on a 9-2 run, but the Wolves weathered the storm after a Caleb Golden jumper cut the Wolves deficit 15-11 midway through the half. From here the Warriors reeled off a 12-2 run to extend their lead, eventually taking a 41-27 lead into the halftime break.
  • The Warriors pushed their lead out to 20, but the Wolves answered, as KiAndre Gaddy had his best stretch of the game, scoring eight points as part of a 13-1 run to cut the Warriors lead to single digits at 56-48. 
  • This would be the closest the Wolves got, however, as the Warriors held the Wolves to two made field goals over the next five minutes and secured their 10th conference win on the season.

PLAYER HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Siles Bennion led three Warriors in double-figures with 19 points, dishing out six assists, grabbing six rebounds, and recording four steals.
  • KiAndre Gaddy led the Wolves with his seventh double-double on the season, scoring a game-high 20 points and 10 rebounds.  

NEXT GAME:
Walla Walla travels to Oregon for their final two-game road trip of the season. The Wolves will take on Corban University in Salem on Friday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. and Bushnell University the following night at 9:00 p.m. in Eugene.
