CORVALLIS, Ore. — Walla Walla Women's Volleyball's
Yaimaris Garcia filled up the stat sheet last weekend and for her efforts she was named the Cascade Conference Setter of the Week it was announced on Monday.
It is the first weekly award for Garcia and the freshman is the first Wolves' player to ever win the Setter of the Week Award from the CCC.

Yaimaris Garcia is an incredibly complete player and her assists, kills, aces and digs always fill up the stat sheet," Walla Walla coach
Kiana Krumm said. "Her energy, competitiveness and precision in setting are unmatched."
Garcia was a major part of two victories for Walla Walla. A straight set victory over Evergreen State and a four-set win against No. 18 Northwest (Wash.). In the two contests, the Camaguey, Cuba-native had a total of 73 assists, 20 digs and 10 aces.
On the season, Garcia has already set the single-season in aces (55) and is tied for fourth all-time in assists (415). The freshman leads all of NAIA with 0.95 service aces per set, the closest to her is at 0.79.
