COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — The Walla Walla Women's Basketball announced its first two signings for the 2026-27 season. A Boise, Idaho native Abi Howington and an Eatonville, Wash., native Miley King have both committed to play for the Wolves.

Makana Stone said. "Both bring a high level of competitiveness, leadership, and a team-first mindset that aligns perfectly with our culture."
Howington is averaging six points and four rebounds for a Borah High School team that is the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Idaho 6A District 3 Girls Basketball Tournament. The senior is ninth in Idaho Division 6A with 10.9 points per 32 minutes played according to maxpreps.com.
King played 14 games as a junior for Eatonville High School and was part of a 22-5 season that saw the Cruisers make it to the final site of the 2025 WIAA Girls Basketball State Tournament before they were eliminated in the Round of 12. King did not play her senior season.
"(Abi and Miley have) shown a strong commitment to growth on and off the court, and we're confident they'll make an immediate impact while continuing to elevate our program," Stone said. "We're thrilled to have them join our family and can't wait to get to work."
