COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — Walla Walla University has announced that
Joey Inman has been selected as the new Sports Information Director (SID) for Wolves Athletics.
Inman steps into the role with a strong passion for athletics, communications, and serving student-athletes. A familiar face within the Wolves community, he most recently served as an assistant coach for the Walla Walla University Women's Basketball Team during the 2025-26 season. As a former student-athlete, educator, and coach, Inman brings a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the student-athlete experience.
Inman graduated from Walla Walla University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Minor in Physical Education. He later earned his Master of Arts in TESOL from Grand Canyon University. During his time at WWU, he was a member of the Wolves' men's basketball team from 2014 to 2018, developing a passion for leadership, teamwork, and athletics that has remained a central part of his career.
Over the past eight years, Inman has worked as an educator in Milton-Freewater, Oregon, and College Place, Washington. He has also coached basketball at Central Middle School, McLoughlin High School, and Walla Walla University, helping mentor student-athletes both on and off the court.
"I'm excited to continue serving Walla Walla University Athletics and helping enhance the experience of our student-athletes," said Inman. "Athletics has the ability to really bring people together, and I look forward to creating opportunities for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community to connect through Wolves sports."
Looking ahead, Inman hopes to expand the visibility of Wolves Athletics, strengthen community engagement, and enhance the game-day experience for athletes and fans alike.
