12/17/2015 12:09:00 PM

WALLA WALLA, Wash.- The Walla Walla University Wolves face off against the Multnomah University Lions tomorrow night, December 17 at 7 pm at the WEC in College Place. The Multnomah Lion's made history earlier this year, April 2015, when they were accepted into the NAIA and CCC. "This is an extremely exciting time for Multnomah University," said Curt Bickley, men's basketball coach. With their new acceptance and recent four losses (3-7, 0-3), the Lions are fired up to play Walla Walla.

WWU has won the last three games against MU, including the 75-70 overtime win. As neither WWU nor MU has achieved their first CCC victory, the game tomorrow night will be huge for the winning team. Spotlight athletes are junior Ethan Osias, scoring an average of 12.8 points per game, and Chad Torkelsen, with 13.2 points per game. Both athletes are leading the Wolves in precision shots and assists.

The Wolves proudly rank as one of the top offenses, fifth, in the CCC, at 9.3 per game and a running total of 84 threes. We are averaging about 88 points per game.

With 43.6 rebounds, the Lions rank as the second most rebounds in the CCC. Their 3-point game is also strong, with an average of 13.9 per game and 139 total threes made.

This game offers the chance at a historical win for whichever teams pulls through tomorrow night. Not one to miss!
