Lewiston, Idaho – Walla Walla's (1-10, 0-4) rematch with Lewis-Clark State College (10-3, 1-1) went similar to the first with the Warriors hot shooting overpowering the Wolves. Monday's night game in Lewiston, Idaho was won by the Warriors 107-67 over the Wolves.
Game Notes
- Walla Walla was missing regular rotation players Trent Torkelsen and Alex Calloway tonight. Andrew Nye and David Reischach started in their place
- Dylan Browning was tonight's high scorer for the Wolves with 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting
- Two players for the Warriors, Doug McDaniel and Isaiah Omanogho, each scored 23 points to lead Lewis-Clark in scoring
- The Wolves had four players in double figures. Along with Dylan, Isaiah Taylor, Ethan Osias and Stuart Tonack each had 10 points
- The Wolves shot 7 of 17 from the three-point line and the Warriors shot 21 of 43 from beyond the arc
- Nine players for the Wolves played double digit minutes, and no player played over 23 minutes
How it Happen
Doug McDaniel opened the game with a three-pointer off a pass from teammate Ty Higbie and the Warriors were off and running from there. They would make a school-record 21 threes before the night was over. The Wolves shot well from the field, total a percentage of 51.7% in the first half, but Lewis-Clark was that much better, shooting 63.9%, including 11 three-point field goals. In the second half the Wolves expanded their rotation, and the team played balanced minutes. The Wolves maintained their high shooting percentage, finishing at 50% on the dot for the game. The Warriors attack was relentless and they were able to generate 14 second half turnovers to help expand the lead and beat Walla Walla 107-67.

The Wolves are back in action on Thursday night. They will be in Portland, Ore. to take on NCAA division I opponent Portland State University. Game time is set for 5:05 p.m.
