How it Happened

The Owls played fast, shot early, and snapped up rebounds on offense.  On the other side, the Wolves used excellent ball movement to create scoring opportunities, but only shot 25% on the night.  Walla Walla has very active on defense, but Oregon Tech found gaps to attack, and kick the ball out to open shooters.  The Owls used their size to grab a big rebounding advantage on the Wolves, which gave them a 26 to 2 advantage on second chance points.  Even with shots not falling for the Lady Wolves, they an excellent job of getting to the free-throw line and converting, shooting 83% for the game, which was led by Sierra Briggs 9-11 shooting effort.  Oregon Tech had they lead from start to finish, beating the Wolves 98 to 43.
