Jackson Fills Scoreboard in Loss to Owls

Box Score KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. Jordan Jackson had 36 points for the Walla Walla Men's Basketball team in a 116-69 Cascade Conference loss to Oregon Tech on Saturday.

Not only did Jackson set a personal-record with his shooting performance, but it was the fifth-highest point total by a WWU men's basketball player since the Wolves joined the NAIA in 2009. KiAndre Gaddy holds the record with 42 points in 2020, Gaddy also scored 40 points in a game that season. Luke Spady scored 38 points in 2014 and Zayne Browning also had a 38-point performance in 2019.

Jackson went 12-of-22 from the field and hit six 3-pointers, tied for sixth-most in WWU history since 2009, and added nine rebounds in 35 minutes.

Walla Walla dropped to 0-20 on the year and 0-14 in conference play. Oregon Tech improved to 16-6 overall and moved into a four-way tie for first in the CCC with a conference record of 11-3.

Reese Snellman was second on the team for the Wolves with 15 points. Soren Dalan had another double-double with 10 points and 10 boards. Walla Walla was strong from the free throw line with a 13-of-16 showing.

Jared Sucher led the Owls with 24 points with five 3s. Dakota Reber added 20 points and Gylan Payne finished with 11 points and eight rebounds.

UP NEXT

The Wolves continue the road trip next week when they travel to Lewiston to play (RV) Lewis-Clark State at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
