KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the member institutions who have achieved Champions of Character Five-Star designations. Walla Walla University was named an NAIA Champions of Character Gold Five-Star Award Winner for the 2024-25 academic year.

It is the second consecutive year that Walla Walla has earned Gold designation. 
 
In total, 210 member institutions were named Champions of Character® Five-Star Award winners for 2024-25.

Institutions are measured on a demonstrated commitment to Champions of Character and earn points in character training, conduct in competition, academic focus, character recognition and character promotion. Institutions earned points based on exceptional student-athlete grade point averages and by having minimal to no ejections during competition throughout the course of the academic year.
